Junior / Mid Systems Administrator
PrideStaff is looking for talented, career-focused, growth-oriented IT professionals to join a rapidly growing client. You will provide support at all levels of the organization with technology needs and issues. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
Location: Roswell / Alpharetta
Compensation: Up to $65k DOE
Minimum Technical Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience as a Systems Admin in a Windows environment
- Must have experience with Windows Server 2008
- Experience with VMWare / HyperV virtualization is required
- Must be able to deal with difficult internal customers via phone, email and face to face
- Experience applying patches and dealing with after hours, unscheduled outages
Tasks and Skills:
- Will work with Senior Systems Admin to understand the environment and work culture
- Must be willing to work after hours on both scheduled and unscheduled outages
- Perform break-fix duties as required
- Maintain server functionality with Windows servers. Primary focus will be on 2008
- Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision or direction
Optional skills and tasks (nice to have):
- Experience with SSL Certificates or other security protocols.
- Experience with Red Hat / Linux
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent years of experience
- Must be willing to submit to a thorough background check and drug screen
