In this role as an PeopleSoft Human Capital Management / Enterprise learning Management Developer, you will be working with business customers to fulfill Human Capital business requirements through innovative technology solutions using Oracle's PeopleSoft Human Capital Management and Enterprise Learning Management products. The PeopleSoft HCM/ELM Developer is responsible for development projects within the PeopleSoft HCM and applications, including enhancing delivered functionality and adding new functionality. The PeopleSoft HCM/ELM Developer works in a project-based structure with duties evolving throughout the phases of the software development lifecycle including:  support of requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.


 


Responsibilities



  • Analyzes business requirements for technical impact to the ERP application

  • Estimates development work effort to fulfill business requirements

  • Prepares technical design specifications that fulfill business requirements efficiently with least impact on the delivered software

  • Prepares clear, concise, and meaningful technical documentation including technical design, development, and deployment information

  • Serves as a deep technical expert for the PeopleSoft HCM and/or ELM applications, including knowledge of development tools and other technical tools (e.g. integration broker, portal, and process scheduler)

  • Ability to complete own work in addition to managing and leading small teams, such as leading a 3 person development team

  • Generates innovative ideas to resolve problems

  • Serve as a mentor/ team leading for other developers. Assists in training junior level personnel in technical complexities of assigned work 

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding all defined project goals and milestone dates

Requirements

Required Skills



  • 5+ years of experience working with the SDLC

  • 5+ years of Relational Database experience

  • 5+ years system development experience including technical design, build, and unit test

  • 5+ years development experience with PeopleSoft and PeopleTools

  • 5+ years experience working on implementation projects for PeopleSoft HCM or PeopleSoft ELM products (production support roles involving break/fix work do not count towards the implementation experience required)

  • Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)

Preferred Qualifications



  • Proficiency with MS Visio

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Expert knowledge of Oracle SQL

  • Experienced with managing and leading small teams, such as leading a 3 person development team
