Senior Financial Analyst
Responsibilities and duties:
Resource Planning
Develop cost standards for material and labor
Developing and maintaining cost accounting policies, procedures and systems
Contributing to the forecasting and budget-setting process
Performing financial analysis and modeling
Analyzing, interpreting and communicating cost and expense variances to management including material Capacity with bill of materials analysis on variances
Analyzing inventory valuations
Overseeing year end physical inventory
Analyzing manufacturing equipment availability and utilization
Analyzing manufacturing operations
Performing month end cost accounting functions
Participation with production managers in efforts to reduce production cost and productivity improvements
Oversee and maintain reporting of daily production measurable
Assists dept managers with ROI calculations for prospective capital requests
Provides cost analysis on strategic cost savings decisions
Assists in preparation of the budget, monthly forecast and reports for annual audit
Hiring, training and supervising any cost and inventory accounting staff
3.0 Authority:
Portions of the job may not be standardized or completely described in the job description and may require some independent action and thinking by the employee.
4.0 Qualifications
Candidate should be willing to travel to Germany for training if necessary.
Candidates should be able to work independently,
Good organizational skills, strong initiative, and attention to accuracy and detail.
Should have five to seven years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing experience
Experience with SAP cost controlling module required
Bachelor Degree required in Accounting/Finance
Certification as a CPA or CMA is highly valued
