Working as a Store Manager, you will develop and lead a professional retail associate team to ensure achievement of operational goals and 100% customer satisfaction. You will supervise the overall daily operation of the store including hiring, discipline, and scheduling of employees to ensure cost effective and quality store operations.

Specific Responsibilities:

Customer Satisfaction:
1. Resolves all customer concerns, complaints or requests in a timely manner.
2. Seeks advice when limits of authority are unclear.
3. Provides a clean, well-stocked store in a friendly, inviting atmosphere.

Personnel:
1. Interview and hire store employees within the strict adherence of all state and federal laws.
2. Train new employees according to the guidelines set forth by the company.
3. Continuous training and development of all employees to maximize skills and foster career growth.
4. Communicates and enforces strict compliance on the company's policy and procedures for all employees. Follows corrective action as directed by the District Manager, or policy requirements.
5. Accessible to all employees to discuss issues.

Merchandising and Promotions:
1. Execute all aspects of the company's promotions, as communicated by the Operations Manager.
2. Pricing policies are strictly adhered to including company and vendor supplied signage. Pricing discrepancies are promptly reported to the Pricebook Manager.
3. Authorized Plan-o-grams are kept up-to-date
4. Sufficient stock is on-hand to satisfy seasonal trends and maximize customer satisfaction.

Labor Productivity:
1. Prepares labor schedule in alignment with authorized hours.
2. Ensures employees are properly paid for time worked.
3. Delegates work responsibilities for all employees. Communicates expectations and follows-up on results.

Store Operations:
1. Responsible for re-stocking and ordering products with authorized business partners.
2. Reports any damages to equipment or property to the Operations Manager.
3. Coordination of daily operations to provide a controlled, organized environment at all times.

Food Safety:
1. Store managers must keep food safe at all times.
2. Food is to be kept at the required temperatures and within the freshness timelines.
3. Store Managers are required to train all employees on properly managing safe food.

Loss Prevention and Safety:
1. Strict adherence to Vendor Check-in Policies
2. Complies with Loss Prevention methods such as video review, sales discrepancies and employee behavior.
3. Trains employees on safety practices such as robbery deterrence, store conditions, fuel emergencies and the importance of proper lighting.

Job Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach and lift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
