This Data Analyst role within the Audience Measurement Data Validation team will be responsible for working across the Media Sales Operations, Advanced Video Services and Regional Video Engineering teams to ensure the quality of the usage and reference data delivered in support of Media Sales Advanced Advertising products. Candidate will be the champion for one of the usage domain (tunes, ads, VoD, DVR and IPTV) delivery processes, including SLA management, change management, vendor management and operational process improvements. The Analyst will also have a key role in implementing the cross-organizational change management processes required to monetize the data-driven products Media Sales is looking to introduce to the ad purchasing community, as well as providing data analytics support for TWC Media business sponsors seeking additional ways to leverage the data set.

Data Quality Assurance Responsibilities

The candidate will be a key contributor the day-to-day data validation and business operations activities required to ensure data sourcing/collection, data processing, and data delivery against business-driven service level agreements:


- Develop a working knowledge of business priorities, legal/regulatory constraints, and data delivery platform solution components


- Manage TWC stakeholder and vendor relationships in support of ad event and reference data delivery


- Ensure source data is routinely provided in accordance with established delivery timeliness and quality SLAs (measure success)


- Implement and execute a robust change management process to ensure network configuration activities and source system enhancements are proactively addressed


- Drive the definition of business relationship terms with third parties, business process owners and source system technology managers


- Collaborate with Media Sales to ensure alignment between product offerings/opportunities and data quality validation processes


- Define the data quality assurance and operations support requirements in connection with new usage types and data products


- Define additional data validation requirements to


- Implement operational process changes across TWC/external stakeholders


- Refine SLA metrics and KPIs as product needs and operational challenges dictate


- Define operations support strategies, dashboards, and alarms to ensure the continuous improvement of solution performance against pre-defined metrics


- Provide subject matter and data analytics expertise to Media Sales power users and BI end user support teams to maximize customer satisfaction with the results reports/data


- Participate in the creation and validation of operations deliverables, including performance and capacity dashboards, data validation/accreditation, technical specifications, test plans/results, operations playbooks, and ability to run SQL queries from databases.


- Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues across technology solution components and business/operational stakeholders


- Provide support for the implementation of the technology solution to new markets and enhancements to existing markets


- Deliver key insights to the AM Program Management team to support the data quality assurance requirements roadmap and budget planning process

Job Requirements:

The candidate must have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills in connection with communicating objectives and performance, as well as resolving operations and technical issues with cross-functional stakeholders. Basic analytical and problem-solving skills will be critical in resolving operational issues in a complex technology environment against aggressive timelines. A high level of comfort with understanding and analyzing/querying complex data sets and a moderate level of technical experience around large scale information movement and management technologies is necessary to be successful in this role. The candidate must be self-motivated, high-energy, reliable, and able to represent the organization and program in front of internal and external stakeholders. Basic project management skills are also highly desirable. Strong SQL skills across Oracle and Netezza databases are required, and the SAS analytics package will soon be introduced to the environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years data analysis and/or 2 years previous work experience in a fast paced technology environment
Education and Experience:


Bachelor ' s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience.
