RN Supervisor

 
We are currently looking for a Full-time Registered Nurse to join our Home Instead Senior Care team as our RN Supervisor. Please submit your resume with references for consideration.

 
Major Areas of Accountability
 

• The RN Supervisor  has responsibility for the supervision of over 100 Home Health Aides -  this includes oversight on their Home Health visit notes, evaluations, reviews and disciplinary/ counseling actions. You will also be responsible for leading regular CEU classes for our employees.

 

• The RN Supervisor has responsibility, with the Home Health Administrator and team, for the continuing provision of high-quality in-home non-medical care to seniors throughout our community. this includes making the initial visit to a client home at the time of initiation of services to assess the client’s personal care and home environmental support needs, completing a written assignment (care plan) for home health aides, and making supervisory visits to the client’s home in accordance with the client’s direction, and only at the election and approval of the client who agrees to pay for the visit per our current Florida law.

Qualifications:
 

1. Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
2. Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in Florida pursuant chapter 464 F.S
3. AT LEAST one year experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital or a skilled Nursing facility and one year home health experience preferred.
4. Strong assessment of personal care needs and planning skills
5. Ability to delegate care appropriately and supervise home visits.

 
Compensation depends upon experience. Benefits package includes contributory health care plan, dental/vision, Aflac, contributory IRA and will include mileage.
