Stand Up Forklift Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Randstad is looking for experienced forklift operators to move inventory in a warehouse environment. Forklift certification is required in both the Stand up Reach forklift and Sit Down forklift. The forklift operator performs a variety of functions involved with loading and unloading, shipping, receiving, assembling and storage of parts, materials and products. Functions may include preparing parts/materials for shipment, pack material, verifying materials and qualities, maintaining inventory, verifying stock counts, moving parts and materials to proper areas. Operates a variety of motorized and hand powered material handling equipment as well as scales, postage meters, conveyor systems. Performs work from hand-held scanners, printed order copies as well as various other written and verbal instructions. Ability to use computer terminals. Ability to utilize RF scanner. Maintains a variety of records pertaining to shipping, receiving, unloading trucks. Must be able to safely climb in and out of trailers. Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs frequently). Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time on a loading dock that is not climate-controlled and may be slippery.
Safely walk, reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties.Other duties as required. May be required to work in various subsystems.
This is a temporary position with the ability to later progress to a permanent position with the client for the right candidate.

Work Hours:
Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift
7:00am - 3:30pm
3:30pm - 12:00am

Daily and Saturday overtime is required

Pay Rate:
1st shift - $9.00 per hour
2nd shift - $9.25 per hour

Working hours: 1st or 2nd shift

Current Forklift Certification required in Stand up and Sit Down
Order Picker or Cherry Picker experience and certification preferred
Minimum 6 months experience working in a warehouse environment
Use of Arithmetic
Ability to follow instructions
Verify stock and part numbers
Ability to Speak, Read and Write English is required
