A distribution company in Savannah seeks an Accounting Clerk.
Job Description:
- Perform required functions in all accounting cycles to ensure accurate financial management of the organization and assist in the timely production of financial statements. This position reports directly to the Director of Finance and Administration.
Job Duties:
- Process and maintain purchase orders and accounts payables.
- Administer disbursements, payroll, including taxes and quarterly reporting, expenses and credit card reconciliations.
- Complete monthly close schedule.
- Assist with fixed asset system maintenance.
- Process new hres and assist in preparation for the annual audit.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and human resources.
- A warehouse or logistics background is preferred.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Premier or Pro, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Bachelor or Associate degree in related field is preferred.
