Experienced Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operators Needed

Experienced Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator needed. We're looking for motivated candidates ready to start a career with a stable company in Cherokee County (30 min north of Cumberland Mall, 45 min north of downtown Atlanta).

These positions are direct hire and the application process will include verification of past employment, education, and criminal history.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate injection mold machine.
- Basic level trouble shooting (tolerances/ tooling / material /speeds/ etc.)
- Read, interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery
- Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
- Clears machine jams, makes adjustments as needed.
- Perform quality checks and procedures.
- Monitors and updates status of work orders.
- Clean and maintain auxiliary equipment, tools, and work area as scheduled or as needed.
- Maintain necessary records as required by SOPs and work instructions.
- Basic machine maintenance.
- Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate and cooperate with fellow employees to maintain quality, operational efficiency and safety.
- Other associated duties.


Candidates must be able to work an overnight, 12 hr shift on rotating days of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on (working every other weekend, off every other weekend).

High School Diploma or GED required.
Set up and operation Injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment (dryer, feeder, thermolator, robots).
Demonstrates mechanical abilities.
Blue print reading and knowledge of metrics.
Basic level trouble shooting (tolerances/ tooling / material /speeds/ etc.)
Previous experience of Nissei and Sumitomo Injection Mold Machine preferred
Ability to work 12 hr shift. Day hours are 7:30am-7:30pm and overnight hours are 7:30pm-7:30am. 3 workdays on, 2 workdays off, 2 workdays on. You will work every other weekend.
