Job Description:  Selected candidates will be responsible for controlling traffic flow of personal vehicles and heavy equipment for road and bridge construction. 

 

Pay Rate:  Based on experience

Shift/Hours:   Varies – part time work also available!   

 

 

Job Requirements:

• 4 + years of flagging experience
• Knowledge of safety procedures and policies in an active construction work zone
• Must be able to communicate clearly, effectively and professionally to co-workers, supervisors and private citizens both verbally and by two way radio.
• Must be able to attend and pass the National Safety Council’s Flagger Training Course in our office
• Must be able to report to various worksites promptly and on time on a regular basis
• Not all job sites will be in the Winston-Salem area, therefore personal transportation is essential
• Safety equipment is a plus but not required, we will supply safety gear as needed
• Steel toe boots are required

 

 

Ideal Candidates:

• Adhere to safety at all times – wear proper safety equipment
• Have reliable transportation to get to/from job site
• Individuals with cell phones have opportunity to receive text alerts
