Physical Therapist Assistant - Skilled - (PTA)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $28.00-30.50 *
ACUTE CARE/REHAB hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT to join the team in their ACUTE CARE UNIT. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.
Additional Requirements/Information:
" Interested candidates must have acute and SNF experience
" Prefer someone with wound care and/or pediatric experience
" Candidates must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a PTA and/or registered as a PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT per state requirements.
Physical therapist assistants (PTAs) provide the help PTs need while working with patients. PTAs are responsible for a number of tasks (e.g. assisting with therapy). There are a number of settings PTs work in, such as:
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association approved Physical Therapist Associate Degree Program. Valid MN license.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience required: 2+ years experience preferred. Long term care experience preferred.
