Product Manager-Textiles

Description

Utilize your exceptional leadership, communication and analytical skills as a Product Manager on the Bed and Bath team within the Textiles Division at Medline. Located in our corporate office in Mundelein, IL, this individual will plan, organize and control the Bed and Bath Product Lines from the item launch stage through the product life cycle to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial and corporate growth objectives. We are seeking a dynamic, creative and hard-working professional with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, large corporate environment.



The challenging responsibilities of the position include:



- Launch completion of new, innovative product lines and/or product improvements

- Development and execution of sales and marketing strategies for each sales team including both training and marketing materials in the field

- Developing / maintaining portfolios and opportunities for new markets

- Responsible for market positioning, pricing strategy and communication plan

- Analyze and track the financial progress of these product lines and use this data to make decisions on line improvements

- Provide clear direction to sourcing / manufacturing / quality teams to ensure the supply chain is consistently on target to meet the needs of the portfolio

- Travel and field support for both sales representatives and customers who are interested or are using the products

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred. Textiles knowledge, degree or experience prefer
• Experience in Textiles strongly preferred
• 3-5 years of previous experience with product management / marketing or sales is preferred Excellent organizational, planning, communication and follow-up skills required
• Excellent presentation skills for large and small groups
• S trong understanding of the importance of customer service
• Must have strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have a bias toward action and be results oriented
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Travel required 20% of the time
