Position Summary

This position is the nexus of marketing strategy, analytics, data storytelling and creativity. The Senior Manager, Analytics is a key position within the Client & Marketing Analytics team, reporting to the VP of Client & Marketing Analytics. The core responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional analytics services to clients, sales and account teams as well senior management and product marketing teams. The role will be responsible for developing client pricing models, tracking and evaluating client performance, designing testing and measurement of programs, developing predictive analytic models, producing analytic reports, optimizing audience selection, and gleaning insights to enhance both product and client program performance.

The ideal candidate is a self-starting, forward-thinking, innovative team player that is focused on results and strives to produce a superior work product. The ability to take incomplete data sets and weave a story together to advise next steps is crucial. The candidate should be comfortable with detailed analysis, and must consistently deliver high-quality work. Successful communication of complicated analyses represents a critical success factor.

Strong interpersonal skills are a must as the candidate must be able to work effectively at all levels of the organization - with sales directors, client team members, managers, and senior management. Given the importance of close collaboration with other colleagues and with clients, the candidate's fit with company values and culture represents an important determinant of success.



Responsibilities

-Lead test design and measurement within Imagitas for products and clients

-Design and create meaningful metrics for evaluating initiatives

-Develop custom client pricing models using category and test data. Lead design of testing plans for client programs, new products and product enhancements

-Serve as company - wide thought leader and a subject matter expert on pricing, measurement, testing, and modeling to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations and insights to Clients, Sales/AM, Senior management and other teams

-Partner with Sales Directors and AMs on strategic plans for growth of key accounts

-Work with internal teams on evaluating new product ideas, in market tests, and product enhancements

-Be an active collaborator and partner to the online product marketing, Sales, clients and account teams in the pursuit of performance-driven insight

-Present and prepare written analysis and present findings

-Build relationships with client analytics and data management staff

Qualification


Requirements
-Impeccable organizational and communication skills

-6+ years of related experience

-Experience and expertise with financial, statistical, and marketing concepts

-Understanding of Database Marketing principles including testing, response measurement, and relational databases

-Complete expertise with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

-Effective and compelling presentation skills

-Comfortable advising and presenting to C-suite level fortune 500 company executives

-Creates compelling visual representations of data (charts/graphs/diagrams)

-Interprets results for business audience with clarity and persuasiveness

-Creative thinker; able to develop unique methods of analysis where traditional methods do not yield results

-Experienced in developing innovative analytical approaches using statistical modeling to demonstrate marketing/business performance

-Determines and articulates strategic marketing implications of analytical results

-15% travel to client locations to discuss proposals, methodology and present findings



Desired Skills and Experience
-Comfortable working with a selection of the following: MicroStrategy, SQL Server, Oracle, Agile, Access, flat data files, proprietary databases, web-based interfaces and Adobe Analytics

-Conversational knowledge of at least one of the following: GoT, 24, Star Trek, Star Wars and/or House of Cards

-Accomplished in the time-honored tradition of Ping-Pong
