Steel/Iron Workers Job Description

• Read specifications or blueprints to determine the locations, quantities, or sizes of materials required

• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural steel members

• Connect columns, beams and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors

Job Requirements

• Must be experienced in iron, steel, or rigging work, with 3 years or more experience

• Must be comfortable working in a lift at least 125 feet above ground level

• Must be OSHA 10 Certified

• Must be able to read metrics

• Must also own a safety harness

Ideal Candidates

• Reliable attendance

Pay Rate: DOE
