Endoscopy Nurse - (Endo RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $31.71 *
This Endoscopy unit boasts the latest in advanced technology housed within a caring and effective patient care model.
Join this highly motivated team of caregivers and enjoy a challenging and welcoming environment based on optimal patient care.
The role of the endoscopy nurse is to provide care for patients with gastrointestinal problems during therapeutic or investigative procedures. The endoscopic RN assists the physician(s) performing the endoscopic procedure while monitoring the patient’s conscious sedation status to increase safety and prevent discomfort. The endoscopic nurse also helps to maintain the specialized equipment of the endoscopy unit, a Special Procedures unit in which healthcare professionals utilize a visualizing scope to view the patient’s lungs or gastrointestinal tract.
Required Qualifications
ACLS - can get beofre starting
Tele training
