Finishing Operator for Printing Company

Large Printing Company has a immediate need for a Finishing Operator in their Hicksville Long Island Office

Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Inspect, number and take printed matter and create a finished product based on customer specifications.





JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect product (labels) on all designated quality criteria throughout the production process
• Report machine problems and shut off the machine in a timely manner when problems occur
• Contribute to team effort by cross-training and providing back-up when necessary
• Contribute to quality investigations when necessary
• Understand and respect responsibilities of working in a SOP and cGMP environment
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with company safety rules, procedures and regulations
• Must be able to communicate in English

QUALIFICATONS:

Educational and professional:

• High School Diploma or equivalent desired

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:

• Basic Computer Skills
• Basic Math skills – knowledge of the metric system

Salary Range: $18.00 to $21.00

Location: Hicksville Long Island, NY

(Candidates must train in New Jersey)

1ST, 2ND & 3RD SHIFTS
