As an IT professional you have expert knowledge in one or more programming languages or databases. Because of your excellent understanding of the entire project life cycle, you have the ability to direct project teams in the gathering, design, and development of complex applications/programs. You get to work closely with and learn from the brightest minds to ensure proper system design. Your role ensures highest quality implementations from design through quality insurance to production. You anticipate hardware and software design needs to take pre-emptive action.  Our IT professionals support multiple team members and other project leads in day-to-day activities related to project work.  

The Sr. Developer has proficient knowledge of multiple programming languages along with the ability to take business requirements and develop the total technical design for an entire application to be run in production. The Sr. Developer has the ability to lay out requirements for the project team. Ability to guide and direct work on multiple projects and ensure proper usage as part of the design efforts in building a system to be put into production. Thorough understanding of life cycle development through production implementation and post implementation. The Sr. Developer has the ability to present at the various architecture review boards. Display strategic view of applications and how they fit into the whole retail space.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -

EDUCATION REQUIRED -
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 5

CERTIFICATES/LICENSES - PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -

  • Salesforce Development experience
  • Experience with web based programing (Apex, VisualForce, Salesforce APIs, SOAP or REST based web services, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VBScript, XML, SQL)
  • Force.com Developer or Advanced Developer certification preferred
  • 3-5 years related experience.
  • Experience developing programs for production.
  • Demonstrated ability to take business requirements and use to formulate technical design.
  • BS Computer Science or related field.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES -
Ability to work independently with minimal direction. Ability to communicate issues and recommend solutions in a timely manner to Management. Strong decision making abilities. Experience developing new application systems for production.
