Service Manager Summary: An Experienced Heavy Industrial General Manager is needed to maintain the safety and productivity of the division vehicles, trailer, and/or equipment by supervising and coordinating the activities of the shop personnel. The General Manager is the first-line supervisor responsible for directing the workflow within the maintenance shop.

Service Manager Responsibilities:

• Supervises maintenance shop employees
• Participates in hiring, training, scheduling and performance management decisions
• Deliver projects on time and under budget
• Visit customer shops and maintain/build relationships with clients
• Reviews work orders, assigns tasks to employees and verifies the quality of work performed
• Schedules work to be performed based on routine preventive maintenance inspections
• Procures parts necessary to complete repairs within assigned limits
• Conducts employee observations
• Maintains a safe and productive work environment
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualified Candidates For The Position Will Have Met The Following:

• Required:
  • 5 years of management experience required
  • Must posses a valid Driver's License
