Unit Details:
Position is in the Ambulatory Pacu unit and RN will float to the main Pacu unit as needed
The ambulatory post anesthesia care unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for overseeing the recovery of post-operative patients who received anesthesia and are expected to recover quickly and be discharged. Ambulatory post anesthesia care unit nurses often see patients who receive less complex procedures, are generally in good health, and are expected to recover from the procedure quickly and without complications.
Required Qualifications
1. 2 years of PACU experience required within the past 3 years
2. ICU experience must have swans
3. ACLS/BLS/PALS
4. Experience recovering adult and peds patients
