Position Description:

Positions in this function are responsible for checking in, scheduling appointments, answering billing questions and managing patient medical records for a clinic. Roles may vary based on the size of the clinic(s).

You will be reporting to a clinician. The clinician has another team of NPs and RNs that report to him/her as well. This will form your team. The goal of the team is to have every single patient in the network seen and assessed by an NP (team of 7 NPs). You will be doing the outreach in collaboration with the RN's to make sure that all visits are scheduled. There will be established identified metrics for the amount of calls that need to be made per day. Identified needs are handed from RNs to NPs or you (PCC) depending on the level of the need. You will be in charge of patient care follow up when a need is assigned.  

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of experience using the telephone and a computer as the primary instruments to perform the job duties
  • Basic computer skills
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Patient care or patient support experience
  • Data entry experience
