Job Description

Lead Aluminum Sign Fabricator assembles finished products using tools and machines. Fabricates various types of products such as aluminum, steel and plastic. Manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Capable of leading a fabrication team of two to three members

Assemble parts by welding or adhesives, lay out electrical components, assure that electrical meets or exceed UL requirements, assemble all fabricated components, mark all components with work order identification number and disassemble for paint preparation

Re-assemble parts after paint, test electrical, prepare product for shipping

Job Requirements

• Must have own tools: tape measure, screw drivers, wire strippers, wrenches & sockets
• Mig welding experience
• Blue print reading/ commercial electrical signs
• Able to read tape measure, blue prints
• Frequent bending, lifting, standing entire shift

Ideal Lead Aluminum Sign Fabricator Candidates

• Minimum 5years working as lead metal fabricator in a sign shop
• High School Diploma/GED
• Trade School or four year apprenticeship in metal fabrication disciplines
• Committed to safety at all times
• Excellent attendance

Pay Rate: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour

Shift/Hours: 1st shift, 7 am – 3:30 pm
