Use your operational analytical skills to design/develop, program, maintain and
publish reports. Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations
for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers. You must
be self-directed and creative as you will deal with some very interesting and
complex issues. As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of
accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written
communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always
meet deadlines.

Candidate must have very strong oral communication skills and be willing and
able to 'work the phones' and outreach to providers and vendors when needed.
Candidate must be able develop algorithms and efficient processes for data
validation.



Positions in this function include those responsible for designing/developing,
programming, maintaining and publishing operational reports. Provides
operational analysis utilized for decision making. May make recommendations
based on the analysis, and provide explanations for reporting results as
needed. May be done for internal operational purposes as well as for customers.



  • Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed.
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues.
  • Serves as a resource to others.


Requirements



Required Qualifications:



  • HS diploma/GED 
  • 3+ Years extensive professional experience in data
    analysis and report design/development
  • 3+ Years advanced experience with SQL and TSQL
  • 3+ Years experience with relational databases
  • 1+ year experience with SQL server


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Healthcare data including Medicare Advantage,
    Claims, Pharmacy
  • Experience with clinical quality measurement such as
    HEDIS or STARS
  • Experience designing and building Sharepoint
  • Experience with stored procedures and triggers.
