KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under general supervision, assists in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs in the areas of employee, executive and/or incentive compensation. In partnership with more senior compensation professionals, conducts extensive analysis to generate recommendations of corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems which may be reviewed and implemented by more senior compensation professionals. Supports compensation consulting in assigned business unit(s). Building business acumen for organizational unit(s) supported as well as a solid understanding of the basics of TWC ' s business.
- Conducts and implements with some input complex analyses and generates recommendations which in many cases will have corporate-wide impact (e.g., LTI/TWCIP target analysis) but will require some oversight by more senior compensation team member(s).
- Participates in large-scale enterprise-wide projects or activities such as year-end process, AIP audit/statements, large-scale incentive plan development and rollout, LTI audit, Geographic Differential, and/or Salary Structure Analysis. Tasks are assigned from the department manager or occasionally from other team members who serve as team lead. May periodically take on a higher profile role in a project with general oversight by a more senior member of the team.
- Conducts and/or participates in compensation surveys conducted by other companies.
- Supports the activities of the Annual Review Process. Conducts training related to the annual compensation cycle, use of Time Warner Cable ' s compensation management tool, and other compensation programs.
- Maintains knowledge of competitive labor market trends and federal and state legislation that may impact Time Warner Cable ' s compensation policies and practices.
- Maintains knowledge of the company ' s pay structures including base salary, annual incentives, and long-term incentives.
- Assists in the preparation and delivery of communications to enhance the perceived value of Time Warner Cable ' s compensation programs.
- Analyzes data, creates data models and designs and implements technological tools to simplify the work in the department.
- Conducts ad hoc assignments and projects as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ YEARS OF MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Typically has 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of compensation fundamentals including design principles, administration and strategic planning
- Intermediate knowledge of compensation administration
- Ability to analyze and interpret data

- Able to resolve basic to complex problems. When asked a question, not only answers question based on personal knowledge but conducts any necessary research to identify answers to aspects of question for which you lack knowledge.
- Has basic knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
