ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows production schedules and completes assigned work tasks on time.
Operates mobile equipment in safe, efficient and professional manner. Equipment includes, but is not limited to forklifts, front-end loaders, and material handlers. Demonstrates skills and ability necessary to operate designated equipment per manufacturer's specifications, as assigned.
Operates stationary equipment including but not limited to baler, shears, pucker/shredder, and chopping line. Demonstrates skills and ability necessary to operate designated equipment per manufacturer's specifications, as assigned.
Performs assigned equipment checks and maintenance in timely and professional manner. Documents these actions as required.
Demonstrates the ability to learn and must effectively develop metal identification skills and testing methods.
JOB DUTIES, other duties may be assigned
Interacts with others in a professional and positive manner, and has good customer service skills.
Demonstrates ability to accurately enter data and use operating (ROM) software.
Accurately sorts, weighs, and receives in-coming metal, whether from dealer, industrial, or retail accounts, as assigned.
Accurately loads outbound containers per shipping instructions provided by the Trading Team (e.g. take proper pictures of outbound containers, properly 'crib' loads, seal containers per customer requirements, etc), as assigned.
Maintains clean work space at shift conclusion or after completing a project.
Demonstrates good safety habits and follows all company safety rules.

Performs tasks assigned by Operations Manager, Assistant Warehouse Manager, Truck Scale Coordinator, or Leadmen.
Displays good communication skills required in working with customers and coworkers, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure. Prefer someone with previous metal or recycling experience. Dayshift $12-14 DOE
