Antepartum/High Risk OB Nurse - (OB RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $33.71 *
his 397 bed facility offers a full range of women's health services for women and newborn infants. The AP unit is a 48 bed unit with focus on high risk pregnancies. With an average care duration of 3-4 wks, this unit sees cases relating to Multiple babies, pre-term labor, pregnancy-induced hypertension (preeclampsia), chronic hypertension (high-blood pressure), diabetes, premature rupture of membranes, incompetent or weakened cervix, bleeding disorders including placenta previa and abruptio placentae, asthma, and post-surgery complications. Rooms include modern amenities, state of the art monitoring equipment, facility wide Wi-Fi and offers options to upgrade to a luxury suite for a wonderful patient experience.
Antepartum/high-risk OB nurses work within the women's health unity for pregnant patients who are experiencing complications with their pregnancy, but are not yet ready to deliver. The antepartum RN is also responsible for providing specialized care for high-risk pregnant women, as well as continuously monitoring the health of the mother and child.
