About this job
Aerotek Health Care is in need of a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT). Candidates will be responsible for:
-Using equipment in the hospital laboratory to test the samples, specifically in Blood Banking and Microbiology.
-Chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic medical laboratory test, procedures and analyses.
-Providing data and test results for diagnosis and treatment.
-Routine testing and chemical analyses on samples such as blood, urine, and spinal fluid.
-Culturing the sample for bacteria, fungi, parasites, and other microorganisms.
-Communication with reference labs; sending tests out when needed.
-Ensures accuracy and quality of testing results.
-Cleaning the lab and lab equipment when needed.
