Position Description:

This
Trainer position is responsible for facilitating/training both new hire and
continuing education courses for the Pharmacy Services departments as well as
other internal clients. The Trainer may also be facilitating virtual trainings
for all OptumRx sites and be involved in special projects and events. 


As a
Trainer, you will also be responsible for reporting your metrics and status on
all assignments. Additional responsibilities include updating and generating
reports, preparing and reviewing materials, communicating training/learner
progress and attendance to their Training Supervisor and Operations,
collaborate with Operations and Training to schedule training courses, and be
responsible for other projects when not training/facilitating a classroom.



Candidates must be comfortable working individually and in a team environment.
Candidates must be able to speak to large groups and feel confident in their
knowledge on OptumRX products. This
position is responsible for training within a function such as Operations or
Customer Service. May also be involved in the design process.

    function.
  • Work is frequently completed without
    established procedures.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • High school Diploma/GED
  • Operational Training &/or Coaching experience.
  • 2+
    years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including documentation creation, editing, spell check, data entry,
    generating reports, and sorting with Word & Excel; Must also be comfortable creating presentations with PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time for training.
  • Ability to work some overtime.
  • Pharmacy Tech Certification, or ability to obtain certification within 1 year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • ASTD membership.
  • Previous experience with Training Pharmacy Clerks,
    Technicians, &/or Pharmacists.
  • Experience in Pharmacy Operations.
