We are currently hiring a Manager to lead Programs/Projects as part of the EPMO. In this position you will manage several efforts within the UHG IT supporting the OHBS Behavioral Segment. As a Senior Manager on this team, you will be accountable for managing multiple programs/projects. This is a highly visible role which will interface with a variety of business and technology leaders.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for entire SLDC to ensure successful implementation of technology products
Engaging business leaders to understand requirements
Planning, managing, and leading programs/projects
Initiating technology project definition and planning activities
Ensuring proper alignment, integration and visibility
Driving consensus and decision-making with business and IT management
Coordinate and align multiple impacted Applications to drive consolidated project deliverables and timelines.
Monitoring project activities to ensure on scope, on time, on budget, on benefit and on quality delivery (5 ONs)
Maintaining visibility on day-to-day activities with project teams AND ensuring sufficient face-time with key stakeholders
Providing status reporting to stakeholders on a regular basis
Mitigating risks and addressing project obstacles as needed
Significant partnership with business and IT counterparts.
Understanding business benefits related to programs/projects
Managing programs/projects around systems and data architecture
Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues
Gathering and updating program/project materials, completing budgeting, forecasting, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents
Communicate details of the project to both the business and technical teams from beginning to end of all projects
Obtaining maximum value from Information Technology project management services
Utilizing organizational resources appropriately
Management of key programs/projects to ensure successful completion
Managing cross-functional interdependencies
Improving processes to optimize performance and value over time
Providing risk management and issue/problem resolution as required

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience with budgets
5 or more years experience with Cross Application IT Project Management
5 or more years experience interfacing with C-Level individuals.
5 or more years experience Managing people
Experience working with Planview
Experience with MS Project
Computer proficient in Microsoft Suite
Must be able to work in one of the following offices: Hartford, Golden Valley or Minnetonka
