About this job
- Serve as business and product lead for small to medium-size projects.
- Assess and interprets customer needs and requirement.
- Work with business segments to better define project requirements for development and implementation.
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
- Support translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
- Work with developers to get projects developed and implemented.
- Coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
- Develop and write client and product communications.
- Participate in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with developers and business resources.
- Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems.
- Solve moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.
- Work with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
- Owns output at task level.
- Develops plans to meet short-term objectives
- Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment.
- Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan.
- Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact individual employees and/or customers (internal or external).
Requirements
- 5+ years of product and/or project management or development experience within a matrix organization
- 3+ years of working with commercial healthcare products (specifically HIM coding, editing, prospective payment system a plus)
- 2+ years working with Agile SCRUM Development
- Experience with web-based and desktop applications
- Experience with professional writing and editing
- Understanding of Commercial Software distribution
- Strong knowledge base of web-based application installation, troubleshooting and deployments
- Demonstrated Ability to manage and prioritize deliverables
- Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
- Communication; work independently with little or no direction; collaborate with a team; critical thinking/creative thinking (complex problem, analyze it and provide solution)
