We are currently hiring an Analytic Programmer in the Life Sciences division of Humedica.  This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates.  In this position you will play a key role in the transformation of vast amounts of clinical data into key actionable insights. 


 


Job responsibilities:



  • Work closely with our account management and clinical teams

  • Conduct data exploration, solve data problems, execute algorithmic data processing using SQL

  • Create novel approaches to the reporting and visualization of data in custom deliverables and product offerings

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have a demonstrated aptitude and enthusiasm for solving data problems and analyzing (not just manipulating) data to provide key insights and must have a strong orientation toward enthusiasm and teamwork. 


 


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related field

  • SQL database programming experience

Assets:



  • Experience working at an internship with a technology company

  • Experience translating existing processes into business requirements

  • Experience researching/ digging into data and performing analysis using SQL

  • Healthcare/ life science experience

  • Experience tracking clinical data through long-term studies

  • Experience researching data to determine whether “clean” or “dirty”

  • Understanding healthcare industry terminology and coding (e.g. NDC11, ICD9/ ICD10, HCPCS, CPT, LOINC)
