• Valve Stemmer
1. Using the build schedule, select appropriate valve stem components for wheel.
2. Assemble valve stem components by hand.
3. Operate Nut Runner to install valve stems (if applicable).
• Sequencer
1. Inspect machine using daily checklist.
2. Use of air-operated O/H crane to lift wheels onto conveyer.
3. Maintain correct wheels in line-set order.
4. Ensure wheels are fed to mounter in such a manner that minimizes down time.
• Tire Flipper
1. Inspect machine using daily checklist.
2. Roll tire from line-set position to branding/match-mark station at end of conveyor.
3. Lay tire on conveyor, locate brand area and brand appropriate tires.
4. Record DOT number (if applicable).
5. By rolling or using hoist, put tire onto conveyer.
• QA
1. Measure tire pressure to 110 + 5 PSI.
2. Measure concentricity to customer standards.
3. May handle shortages.
• Catcher
1. Remove assembly from conveyor after tilt table reaches vertical position via automatic switch or by operating correct foot pedal to activate pneumatic assist.
2. Depending on operation, use hoist or roll assembly to appropriate station, conveyer, balancer or rack.
3. Monitor sequence of assembly using build sheet





• Balancer (if applicable)
1. Set controls on Balancer to appropriate size and style of wheel (Aluminum or Steel).
2. Remove first tire/wheel assembly from front of conveyor (same as catcher) and roll to balancer station.
3. Check air pressure in tire, adjust if necessary.
4. Secure assembly to balancer and proceed with balancing process.
5. Locate balanced position and apply wheel weights securely with mallet.
6. Remove assembly from balancer and roll into appropriate rack.
7. Label the correct line sequence number on assembly
• Mobile Equipment Operator
1. Must be certified.
2. Safely transport tires, wheels and assemblies through out warehouse.
3. Safely load and unload trucks, including racks of assemblies on flatbed trailer.
4. When loading and unloading trucks, make sure truck jack is in place and wheels are choked.
5. Using build schedule verify tires, wheels and assemblies are in appropriate sequence.
6. Distribute loads to appropriate location in warehouse; on assembly line or in truck.
7. Monitor and change out propane tank.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or GED
• Prefer at least one year of manufacturing experience in a wheel environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Ability to work OT, Holidays and different shifts, as required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Good oral and written communication ability

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic addition, subtraction

REASONING ABILITY
• Possesses the ability to analyze and resolve routine and reoccurring problems.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
