About this job
As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you will perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment as well as:
-Inspect and test defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
-You will use test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts and pressure gauges
-Communicating with customers in a clear and courteous manner
-Abiding by all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) specifications
-Attending weekly and monthly safety meetings
-Troubleshooting and repairing all makes of vehicles
-Performing DOT inspections
-Completing rear axle alignment checks
-75% Diesel, 25% Gas
-They must own their own tools
Pay will be dependent on skill level and experience. There are both stationary as well as mobile positions available within the company.
