About this job
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid understanding of GDT
- Excellent working knowledge of machining, machining principles – should have a machining background or worked in machine shop
- Ability to inspect features on surface plate vs just running through CMM program and verifying in/out tolerance features
- Excellent working knowledge of inspection equipment/tools, methods of inspection
- Good working knowledge of threads, sizes, classifications
- ISO 9000 Experience
Additional desirable qualifications include:
- CMM Background/knowledge. Ability to program CMM – Zeiss or Brown/Sharp with PCDMIS
- Good working knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, CAP Study, Gage R&R Studies, Process Controls, Control Plans
