About this job
Our client, is a fully-integrated pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and markets injectable pharmaceutical products. They are currently looking for Equipment Sterilization Technicians (Component Prep Cleaners) to work at their facility in Melrose Park.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the preparation of all filling machine parts for sterilization. Must prepare filling machine parts following good aseptic techniques to minimize particulate contamination and per SOP’s to insure sterility. Must be knowledgeable of numerous different fill line configurations to prevent costly operational errors or line downtime.
MUST HAVE
-Preference of a background in GMP or Pharma environment
-Must have operated a machine
-Will have to perform stopper preparation in addition to vial washing
-Good reading and math skills are required
-This is detailed work that is performed independently, need to be able to follow the instructions with excellent technique
-Stand for 10-12 hours a day
-Lift up to 50 pounds
-Clean vials and machine parts
-High School graduate or equivalent
-Basic mechanical aptitude
-2-3 years pharmaceutical experience preferred
-Chart reading/interpreting, loading diagrams
Must be open to shift (Days or Nights): 5:45am-6:15pm or 5:45pm-6:15am
***Will work 40-60 hours a week***
MUST HAVE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
