RESPONSIBILITIES:

Seasonal Development:
- Partner with design throughout development ensuring product details meet aesthetic direction as well as bulk production criteria.
- Support in product development meetings with vendors as needed and follow up on all style development in partnership with manager and design.
- Work with manager on style-level vendor allocation for all styles put into development.
- Accurately create color components in Flex PLM from design generated BOM post style review.
- Compile initial costing for all styles in development by partnering with cost engineer and/or vendors/regional offices. Work with manager on identification and communication of cost challenges.
- Compile time and actions for all styles in development and discuss risk with Manager.
- Monitor status of raw materials for color samples and partner with Raw Material Design and manager on identification of raw materials that are not meeting cost or quality standards.
- Request color samples for Style Review meetings. Work with Sample Coordinator to request color samples for PR and Mktg and engage in as needed support for communication with overseas offices/vendors on sample tracking & risk assessment.
- Work with manager to ensure product meets QA and FFP standards by partnering with Bra Product Development team for launch pathway styles and vendors for core/fashion styles.
- Work with manager on vendor hind-sighting regarding on-time sample performance, quality and communication.
- Close working relationship with New York Design, Design Operations, Print, Color & Concept, Raw Material Design Merchandising, Textile Technology, Production & Sourcing, regional offices and vendors.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1 - 2 years related experience
- Demonstrate strong, consistent problem solving abilities and result-driven communication with business partners
- Keen written, verbal and electronic communication skills, computer proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Basic knowledge of Flex PLM
- Ability to be a team player and foster a commitment to teamwork with other associates
- Ability to communicate design aesthetic direction to vendors/regional offices
- Basic knowledge of garment construction
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
