Tenth Avenue Commerce and FromYouFlowers.com, an ecommerce company, with a presence in Old Saybrook, CT and New York, NY is seeking a self-motivated Front End Developer.
We are seeking a Front End Developer to join our development team. He or She must be able to hit the ground running and produce code that they are proud of. They should be able to write beautiful, fast CSS/JS to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with our IT and design teams to ensure consistent and clean digital products
* Create high quality consumer web application interfaces
* Contribute to testing and implementation approach for the presentation layer
* Write clean, modular code that seamlessly accommodates all browsers and devices
* Rapidly fix interface bugs, solve problems, and debug cross-browser compatibility issues
Requirements:
* 3+ years experience in developing highly interactive web applications with HTML/CSS/JS
* Exceptional object-oriented JavaScript skills
* Interest in, if not experience with, working further down the stack
* A disciplined and detail oriented approach to testing and quality assurance
* A passion for the detail and meticulous attention to design details
Exceptional candidates will also have experience with:
* Web design of any sort (website elements, landing page design, digital marketing collateral, etc.)
* Knowledge of fundamental design principles and Adobe Creative Suite
* Data-informed product development (ie: analytics, AB testing, etc.)
