Diesel Mechanic Summary: Repair and inspect company equipment in a safe, timely, cost effective and practical manner.
Diesel Mechanic Shift: 1:30pm - 10:30pm or 8:00pm - 5:00am
Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Routine and preventative maintenance
- Brake work
- Assist senior mechanics in the shop with repairs
- Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis of the components parts and systems
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualified Candidates For The Position Will Have Met The Following:
- Required:
- Equivalent of a high school diploma or GED & 1 year of related equipment maintenance and repair
- Must furnish own tools
- Valid Driver's license
- Preferred:
- Mechanical or trade school certificate
- ASE certificate
- Welding and/or fabrication skills and/or experience
