Aerotek Commercial Staffing is seeking a Production Mechanic on the first shift, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. The Production Mechanic is responsible for providing support for production machining operations. This individual will perform stamping, deburring, drilling, sawing, surface finishing, and metal prepping. The Production Mechanic should be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment under minimal supervision to complete tasks.
Duties:
Cleans and prepares parts for plating operations.
Performs inspection processes and procedures as they pertain to quality.
Uses SAP to track and schedule work.
Operates metal drilling equipment, saws, sanders, grinders, deburring equipment and metal prepping machinery. Performs finishing operations on parts when required
Reads blueprints for the assembly and manufacture of parts
Assist in the preparation of annual physical inventory.
Observes all safety regulations.
Maintains a clean work area and keeps equipment in good working order.
Supports Bosch Packaging's BPS initiatives.
Advises Supervisor of any maintenance or safety hazards that exist.
Other duties as required by Supervisor
Qualifications:
A ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Good communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and good interpersonal skills.
Basic Windows skills or willingness to learn Windows.
Ability to perform a sequence of operations with minimal supervision
