Now Hiring for Multiple Positions at Vestas

Vestas is hiring employees for the manufacturing of wind turbines. Those with previous industrial experience would be considered for the higher level positions that pay $16/hour while employed as a temp through Manpower and then increase to $18/hour when hired on as a regular Vestas employee. These positions involve a variety of processes including sanding, grinding, assembling, applying epoxies, finishing surfaces, polishing, operating hand tools, operating machines, measuring, testing, lifting, moving, etc. Those with mechanical aptitude but don't have any applicable experience would be considered for the "Production Helper" positions. These pay $13/hour and increase to $14/hour when hired on as a regular employee. Your duties would include transporting materials, using simple machines, material staging, cleaning up, etc. These jobs have room for advancement and Vestas has a comprehensive benefits package when hired on. Both jobs are very physical in nature. 2nd shift hours are 12pm or 2pm to 1030pm depending on department. 3rd shift hours are 8pm or 10pm to 630am depending on department. Vestas tries to accommodate your preference on shift, but requires flexibility due to business needs. Both shifts must be flexible on OT. Days rotate every four weeks for most departments, every quarter for some departments. WE WILL BE HIRING UP TO 30 PEOPLE PER WEEK THROUGH THE END OF AUGUST!
