Aerotek has an opening for an Industrial Maintenance Technician with one of the top manufacturing facilities in Jonesborough, TN. This position works 12 hour shifts (7PM until 7AM). Starting pay will be $17.00 per hour with an increase after full time hire. Successful candidate will be proficient with PLC troubleshooting. The ability to hook a laptop up to machines, troubleshoot PLC programs and make minor adjustments is mandatory.
Job Description:
Maintenance Tech will be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical systems in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Electrical experience must include PLC troubleshooting (ability to read ladder logic) with a laptop, making minor edits to PLC programs, relays, replacing sensors, reading schematics, working with 3-Phase wiring, and wiring control panels. Mechanical experience will include hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and machine shop fabrication as well as strong experience repairing CNC equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
1). High school diploma or GED required
2). Technical degree in a Maintenance field or Journeyman certificate preferred
3). Ability to troubleshoot PLC's and read ladder logic
4). 1-3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
