About this job
Our client, a leader in customer relationship management within the pharmaceutical industry, is currently seeking a social media specialist to add to its team. This is an immediate role at a local yet international company that will foster growth and development within marketing and social media strategy.
The Social Media Specialist will report directly to the Senior Manager of Communications and is responsible for the execution of the company’s social media plan. This encompasses but is not limited to the following:
- Researching all available social outlets and recommending which are the most applicable to the Life Sciences industry as well as the company.
- Researching social media automation tools, and recommending which would be most valuable and cost effective for the company.
- Staying up-to-date on rapidly changing best practices and trends related to social media.
- Compiling content for social media posts across multiple outlets.
- Managing both internal and external requests to post content.
- Developing internal and external partnerships for reciprocal postings.
- Consistently posting to various outlets per best practices and trends.
- Analyzing results of social media initiatives using automated tracking tools.
Qualifications:
- College Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or other related field.
- Proven knowledge of the workings of social media.
