SUMMARY: Enters data into computer system from a variety of Provider forms.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Verifies a variety of standard and/or complex coded or encoded business and statistical source data into a computer. Examines information on Provider forms for completeness and accuracy. Contacts providers to verify accuracy of information and makes corrections. Maintains files of completed work. Keys pertinent coded and encoded Provider data into the system. Verifies data and confirms discrepancies with assigned Providers. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with Providers in order to verify and correct information.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires High School diploma or equivalent and some experience working with keyboarding and automated office equipment, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. This is an entry-level position. SKILLS: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem solving skills necessary.
