Job Description: General Assembly/Shipping
Custom door business seeking hard working individuals to join our team. Job duties include catching products coming off machines, sanding, loading and unloading merchandise, shrink wrapping products. These positions are fast paced but require extreme precision; you will be dealing with million dollar materials. This manufacturing environment has a lot of saw dust in the air and on the floors and can be very busy.
Ideal candidates have a background in construction, production, fabrication, or manufacturing; custom fabrication on woodworking is a plus. High expectations for attendance and punctuality. Must be able to catch on quickly and work fast.
Hours: 1st shift; specific hours vary. Monday thru Friday, overtime availability on Saturdays required.
Requirements:
• Must be able to transport materials weighing in excess of 50lbs repetitively throughout an 8 to 10 hour day.
• Must have at least 2 years manufacturing background.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.
• Must know how to read a tape measure.
