Social Worker - Acute - (SW - Acute)
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $29.00 - 34.00
13 week assignment to start ASAP
LICSW, LGSW, MSW with an active DC license
Recent inpatient experience required
Social workers are responsible for providing psychological support to people, families or vulnerable communities to give them the coping mechanisms they need to combat ailments. Social workers also provide advice for family caregivers, counsel patients, and help organize the patient’s treatment plan following discharge from the facility. The social worker works in a variety of settings, such as:
Required Qualifications
Hospital experience
Required LICSW,DC license active (in hand)
Acute Hospital SW/discharge planning experience, Heart Failure/ LVAD, Women Infant Services, social complex discharges/ medical complex discharges
