Description

REM Mississippi is growing! We are expanding our service lines in Mississippi, and are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to provide leadership and support of quality services for the state. Quality is an integral part of our business. We strive to have quality systems in place and work continuously to improve on those systems, always finding new and innovative ways to improve services.


The Quality Assurance Manager will manage the statewide quality systems for quality improvement and risk management programs and business plans. The Quality Assurance Manager will also support operations by ensuring compliance with all applicable internal and external standards.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of REM Mississippi’s adherence to state and federal regulations
  • The promotion, coordination and incorporation of clinical and quality best practices in all service lines
  • Focus on quality measures and clinical outcomes
  • Responsible for oversight of the state’s quality assurance and improvement systems help ensure the integrity of our services and the satisfaction and progress of the individuals we serve and all invested stakeholders.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years’ experience in quality assurance or other related human services field
  • Experience with Auditing and Data Analysis
  • Occasional overnight travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Outlook
  • Ability to influence teams without direct supervision
