Program Coordinator:


REM Central Lakes is seeking a full-time Program Coordinator, starting at $15.00 an hour, to manage a group home and the employees who assist children living with intellectual/developmental disorders, autism, and behavioral disorders. Description

By joining our team as a Program Coordinator (PC), you will work with various managers and specialists to provide quality care and support to employees that will encourage success and development. REM Central Lakes, Inc. offers residential services with supports tailored to the needs of each individual, including assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal cares. In addition to schedule direct care hours, Program Coordinators facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in a range of administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling and oversight. PCs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in their community or providing transportation (preferably using the company vehicle, but with mileage reimbursement, may be your own) to school or other activities. In addition, PCs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to encourage individuals to be as independent as possible and enhance the quality of life for those we support.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum one-year experience in human services, healthcare or related field preferred
  • Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Car registration and vehicle insurance required if providing transportation for individuals receiving services
