The Client Services Associate provides prompt, professional and accurate responses to telephone inquiries from contract owners, insurers and distributors. This fast-paced position requires individuals that have the ability to thrive in a structured and active inbound call-center environment.
Individuals will be responsible for answering inquiries on product features, understanding product performance and educating customers on the features of our products and processing guidelines. Questions can be anything from a customer requesting an address change to explaining how their policy works and assisting them with how to take money out of their annuity contract.
The Client Services Associate will work with a dedicated Supervisor to meet and exceed published benchmarks related to soft skills, accuracy, call handle time and attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and respond to service inquiries via inbound phone calls from customers, producers and Internal Sales Desk employees.
-Build positive business relationships with all customers by listening, interpreting and responding in a timely manner.
-Accurately and efficiently process telephone requests, initiate policy changes and forward requests for processing/confirmation.
-Maintain performance level based on company specified goals and objectives. Primary performance is measured based on a combination of quality, timeliness and availability to our customer.
-Proactively identify problems, issues and recommend solutions that produce results and favorable outcomes for the client, department, and company.
-Assist with escalated customer issues that may include investigation and recovery recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience or bachelor's degree
- Call center experience preferred
- Insurance experience preferred
