## Description **__General Description/Primary Purpose__** Responsible for providing HR support and maintenance of all employment records and files. In addition, prepares reports, processes payroll, and assists in the daily administration of all company programs. **__Description of duties and task essential job functions__** * Processes weekly associate payroll to include any requests for earned hours and time and attendance edits, and distributes checks. * Performs administration of Workers Compensation, including the completion of required forms, initial claim reporting and follow-up, and maintaining the OSHA 300 log. * Assists the HR Manager in the new associate on-boarding process. * Updates and maintains associate employment records, processing any associate changes such as personal information, taxes, department and shift changes and pay rates. * Maintains and updates associate physical and electronic employment records in compliance with company standards, and Federal and State regulations. * Identifies, prepares and distributes documented Associate counselings to Department Managers for issuance, and tracks and conducts follow-up with managers to ensure counselings are administered and returned to HR. * Maintains all internal communication bulletin boards; including but not limited to company notices, and required Federal and State employment posters * Responds to associate inquiries on matters related to company programs and activities, and responds to management and associate questions regarding company policies and procedures. * Assists HR Manager with staffing needs such as fulfilling temp labor requests, posting open positions, prescreening applications, conducting criminal background checks and work history verifications. * Orders and maintains HR supplies and forms. * Performs other related tasks as assigned. ## Qualifications **__Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities__** * Ability to read English language sufficiently to understand written assignments and procedures. * Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms utilizing English language skills. * Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division needed to prepare statistical reports. * Good analytical and judgment skills to identify and resolve problems. * Sufficient manual dexterity to operate a PC, calculator, copier, telephone, and FAX machine. * Proficient computer skills in working with word processing programs and spreadsheets, and human resource information systems. * A minimum of 1 to 2 years of prior administrative HR experience required. **__ ******__Essential Physical Abilities__** **Essential Physical Ability** **Requirement** Walking Flat surfaces from point to point.
