Description
Medline Industries, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Line Clearance Coordinator for our Sterile Procedure Trays Division located in Waukegan, IL. The Line Clearance Coordinator is responsible for running assembly line efficiently, to send customers quality products, and to communicate changes and procedures to all personnel on assembly line.
The challenging responsibilities of the position include:
- Verifying paperwork for all lots ran daily. Including DHR, inserts, carton labels, substitutions, deviations.
- Completing all applicable paperwork. Includes Line Clearance Form, ECN’S, Daily production report, Cleaning logs and on hold forms.
- Verifying that jobs are received with the correct components per work order B.O.M. from warehouse.
- Assist to enforce company policies and procedures. Build first kits (master sample) for jobs, assign assembly stations, instruct assemblers on proper component placement in the kit, verify work order is being run correctly per PPPF (assembly and wrapping technique).
- Supervise up to 20 people on 1 line.
- Maintain clean/safe work area.

Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- •Must be able to read, understand and write English
- Detail oriented with good organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to read and write English and effectively communicate instructions to all of the employees on the line. - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- 3 years hands on prior experience in medical device or drug company is preferred
- Good Customer Service skills and ability to work in a fast paced, high energy environment?
- Basic computer knowledge required
