About this job
Function: This position fulfills all the duties of a maintenance/millwright worker. The person filling this position is responsible for all maintenance of equipment including vehicles, forklifts, wood manufacturing equipment, and facilities. This position may be required to manufacture tools, work aids, and work-around to keep equipment in operating condition.
This position will perform the following:
Regular maintenance and repairs on:
--Tractor and trailers
--Forklifts
--Woodworking equipment including, but not limited to molders, sanders, planers, glue clamps, turtle lifts, conveyors, green chain, grinder hog, and dust collection systems
--Proper operation of hand banding and machine banding equipment; band chopper machines
